Principles of anti-collision and buffer devices in playground equipment
When there are more than two groups of unmanned single vehicles or trains running on the same track, slideway, special lane, etc., automatic control devices and buffer devices to prevent mutual collisions should be installed. When someone is operating, an effective buffer device should be provided.
The working principle of the anti-collision device is: when the amusement equipment vehicle runs to the dangerous distance range, the anti-collision device will send out an alarm, then cut off the power supply, and the brake will start, so that the vehicle will stop running when it passes by, and the mutual collision between vehicles will be avoided. Amusement equipment such as crazy mice, penguin pulleys, etc., are equipped with anti-collision automatic control devices. At present, anti-collision devices mainly include laser type, ultrasonic type, infrared type and electromagnetic wave type.
Amusement equipment that may collide must be equipped with a buffer device. Common buffers for amusement equipment are divided into energy storage buffers and energy consumption buffers. The former mainly uses springs and polyurethane materials as buffer components, while the latter is mainly oil pressure buffers.
When the speed of the amusement equipment is very low, the buffer can use a solid buffer block or a spring buffer. The material of the solid buffer block can be made of rubber, wood or other materials with appropriate elasticity, but the solid buffer should also have sufficient strength. When the height of the amusement equipment is raised a lot, most of the cockpit buffers are energy-consuming buffers, which are what we usually call hydraulic buffers.
